This time I am thinking to touch base with something more important which is generally ignored when you are working on Salesforce.com.
Have we ever seen what all resources are there on Salesforce's developerforce homepage which could help us enhance our knowledge/skill and make Salesforce learning easy to absorb and transfer.
Well, I am an ardent visitor of developerforce.com. What I feel is that we only know 10% of the available resources and the rest is buried deep down our ignorance, just like an Iceberg.
So, almost all important resources I would like to outline here so that we could come to know what all are pre-existing there, and what we are not utilizing efficiently.
CodeTalk is a new pilot program for developers to have their Force.com technical queries answered via a live, unscripted 30 minute Q&A session on pre-selected topics.
Code Share is a directory of open source code projects covering all aspects of the Force.com Platform. Browse and access the source code for these projects to learn more about the code. Create an account of your own on Code Share to collaborate with project owners and other members on existing projects, and create and register projects of your own.
Here we could get all important blogs by renowned Salesforce.com Evangelists like Pat Patterson, Lauren Grau, Josh Birk, Sandeep Bhanot etc.

The core resource libraries are concise, role-based views of the Force.com platform. The documents in the libraries don't have to be read in a particular order, and provide a good introduction to a logical slice of the platform.

The Developer Core Resource Library is a set of resources covering all the fundamental aspects of the Force.com platform and its various components, aimed at a developer audience.
These resources will get you up to speed on the platform, providing all the necessary background and pointers to get you started developing applications and solutions quickly and efficiently.
The resources look at the logic, database, user interface, integration and security layers.
The Architect Core Resource Library is a set of resources covering all the fundamental aspects of the Force.com platform.
These resources serve two audiences: those who want to understand how the Force.com platform and architecture can be used to fit into and extend their existing infrastructure and security frameworks, and those who want to understand how to architect applications on Force.com for commercial purposes.
This page lists all the content featured on the Developer Force home page over the past few years. You can use the category picklist to filter for content in particular groups - for example, content about integration. You can also filter by type (whether it's an article, webinar or a tech talk) and year.
It lists out all the Salesforce webinars over the past few years.
You can get workbooks (PDF/HTML format) on Salesforce. Books like:
